Questo partenariato bilaterale è una cooperazione tra la Haram vidaregaande skule e l'ISIS Malignani, basata su uno scambio reciproco di studenti. L' obiettivo per i docenti è stato migliorare l'offerta formativa in funzione dell'orientamento allo studio e al lavoro, per rendere gli allievi più consapevoli delle loro potenzialità in funzione delle scelte future. Allo stesso tempo il progetto ha promosso l'apprendimento linguistico e ha offerto ai giovani l'opportunità di esplorare la cultura nazionale e regionale di un altro paese.

Il progetto ha avuto luogo in Norvegia e in Italia. Le due scuole cooperano da tempo in progetti relativi ai programmi Comenius e Leonardo. Entrambe le scuole sono situate in regioni caratterizzate da una forte industria marittima che opera in un mercato globale. Questo implica un mercato del lavoro internazionale e un bisogno di sistemi scolastici flessibili che permettano agli studenti di far fronte alle sfide e alle possibilità.

Per tutte le parti coinvolte (studenti, scuole, datori di lavoro) è stato importante avere una buona conoscenza dell'istruzione e della formazione, dell'orientamento professionale e del reclutamento al lavoro. Nel progetto abbiamo scambiato conoscenze ed esperienze su questi argomenti e su ciò che funziona meglio per conseguire buoni risultati. Inoltre si è mirato a ridurre l'abbandono scolastico, e conseguentemente prevenire l'esclusione sociale.

This bilateral partnership is a cooperation between Haram vidaregåande skule and Istituto Tecnico Industriale “Arturo Malignani” based upon a mutual students’ exchange. The goals will be to learn more about career planning and how to carry out the career guidance and counselling. At the same time it will promote language learning and an insight into the national and regional culture of a foreign country.  

The project will take place in Norway and Italy. The two schools have been closely cooperating through projects in the Comenius and Leonardo programmes. Both schools are located in regions characterised by a strong maritime industry, operating in a global market. This means an international labour market, and a need for flexible school systems enabling students to meet both the challanges and the possibilities.

For all parties (students, schools, employers) it is important to have a good knowledge of the choices of education and training, career guidance and recruiting work. In the project we will exchange knowledge and experience on these topics and what works best in relation to increasing throughput. Besides, we aim at reducing the number of dropouts, and thereby prevent social exclusion.
